For example, in The Robbery he is white and callous and gives Jerry no hope that his stolen property will ever be found, while in The Subway he is black and heroically saves Kramer from being mugged.Born in Central Casting, U.S.A., Cop is a generic chameleon who often wears a blue uniform but sometimes dresses in plain clothes. His age, height and weight vary. (He tends to be between 20 and 50 years old.) His personal life is rarely if ever brought to the fore. We don't know whether he is single, married, divorced or all three, or whether there are any little Cops underfoot at home. His comedic sense, if it exists at all, tends to be New York dry.
