The son of crime lord Frank D'Amico, Chris is a comic book lover and reluctant villain who comes up with the ploy of Red Mist in order to lure Kick-Ass into a trap. He aspires to be like his father, though their personality differences cause problems between them.Red Mist is a comic book hero created by Mark Millar for Kick-Ass. The movie version differs from the character created for the books.Two years later, in the film Kick-Ass 2 , Chris D'Amico goes from using the name Red Mist to the name The Motherfucker .
