Walter Markley started live in rural Kansas, before serving his country in the Army. After a posting in France in the Military Police, he served as an artillery officer in Vietnam. Upon his return from service, he completed a degree in Biology from Wichita State University. Walter Joined the secret service working in offices in Omaha, Washington D.C. and Chicago. During his time in the Secret Service he worked in counterfeiting and served on several temporary protection assignments before being assigned to the Vice Presidential production detail. He was assigned to Barry Goldwater and Walter Mondale during their terms before moving to the Chicago office. He retired from the secret service in 1988.After retirement Walter worked in security. During that time he was hired as a consultant on "The Package" and appeared in the film. He later moved back to Wichita, KS and worked as private investigator and was active in private investigator community. Always a lover of a good cigar, Walter and two colleagues opened Air Capital Cigar in Wichita. Show less «
