Sy Patnode is an American Actress and Singer. She has trained at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles. She attended MI for Vocal/Music training along with private coaching. She is a singer for the cover band "Rocktribe" and can be seen as The Baroness in the musical Opera "Candide" at the Conejo Players Theater in Los Angeles. Her TV/Film credits include Days of our Lives, General Hospital, A Lie to Tell, Ted's Travel Tortures and A Crooked Somebody. She is also an accomplished Award-winning Writer/Director. As a film producing student she wrote, produced and directed the short "Gold Diggers" which was accepted into several film festivals, winning "Best Shorts Competition, Award of Recognition, Women Filmmakers (Student)" in Mar 2016, "The Award of Merit" at the Canadian Short Film Festival and screened at The Marche Du Film in Cannes, France. In addition the "Gold Digger's" screenplay won "Best Short Screenplay" Awards (2) and a Semi-Finalist award (1). In the writing program at Second City Hollywood creating a pilot and spec scripts.
