Simon is best known for his on air radio persona 'Donkhole' which was first heard on the UK's flagship rock radio station 'Kerrang Radio'. Simon's comedy timing and natural skills on air made him an instant hit with the listeners alongside being made an integral part of the show in which he would make a name for himself not just on air but also as a producer. Simon would add a new dynamic to the show with his witty and comedic outlook; this would grow even further after an on air feature he creatively developed would escalate his character to a bigger audience.After he had taken his comedic writing and performances to other well known commercial stations, Simon then landed a position at BBC WM. He would then go on to produce some of the biggest, most successful shows on the BBC schedule. Aside from the ability to successfully create such an entertaining persona, Simon has also won two 2010 New York Gold Festival awards, this follows on from his earlier entry two years previous which saw him win a Sony award. Simon is well known for his creativity whether it is turning what would be considered a simple idea in to something much bigger, or developing his own concept and making it in to an award winning radio show feature. This has also been positively noted by other respected individuals within the media industry.Alongside all of this, Simon's talents also expand on screen with appearances on some of TV's most prestigious programmes.
