His first signs of artistry and self expression where through drawing comic book and video game characters in his early elementary school years. Being the active boy he was, he then studied Martial arts and break-dancing as hobbies throughout middle-school (San Jose, California). It wasn't until Freshman year at Robert E. Lee Highschool (San Antonio, Texas) that he would pick up guitar for the first time. With his new fascination for music he then began to learn all styles of not only guitar but music in general. After completing high school Sean moved to Los Angeles to begin the next phase of his life and pursue the entertainment industry. With Acting/Modeling in the picture, he then joined OC based band "Burning Tree Project" and went strong for 5 years touring the US and Canada as well as earning a spotlight on MTV.During this time, Sean became very well known for his popular theme song arrangements on the internet. Receiving over 5 million hits (at the birth of the YouTube era), he has become one of the most recognizable internet personalities and has been featured on countless video sites and web/magazine articles. He's been YouTube's "Artist of The Month" twice and has tons of entertaining musical videos on his channel: ShonstaWhile working on his own music and departing from BTP, he began producing bands and artists in the LA area, which then blossomed into film scoring. Next, Sean opened a post audio house in San Francisco and created original music for tons of commercials including brands such as Franklin Templeton Investments, SF Giants, Discovery Channel, NBC, Ubisoft, Nintendo, and many more.Around this time, Sean decided to take the plunge and Produce/Direct a feature length film entitled "The Oatmeal Man". A silly idea that made for a great learning experience. He casted all his friends and family and pulled favors everywhere he could to get the movie made for next to nothing. After moving back to the LA area, Sean decided to open his own post production house and direct commercials. He won 1st and 7th place for The Philips Shaver Series/Space X commercial competition with two separate commercials. He's also won directorial awards for his commercials for Red Robin, Kikkoman, Spy Gear, and Shell.Sean then decided to take a break from the grind and wrote an Amazon #1 Best Seller called "Money 4 Music", a book that teaches how to make 5 figures per song you write and how to become a commercial composer. In January of 2015 Sean decided to live out his childhood dream of making a video game and started developing "Liquid Metal", a concept he thought of back in 2012.
