Sarah is an award winning composer who has scored soundtracks across a wide range of genres including Film, TV, and Games.Her latest projects include writing and recording an orchestral score for the upcoming feature documentary by Maeve O Boyle, Aideen Kane, and Lucy Kennedy about the 8th Amendment in Ireland; a second documentary executive produced by Oscar nominated actor Vera Farmiga 'Unspoken'; as well as a third documentary by award-winning director Lance Edmands called 'The Seeker.'An experienced games composer, she is chief in-house composer for Warducks VR and AR studio and has provided the soundtrack for over six best selling titles across mobile, desktop and console platforms. She is currently working on a new game with Warducks, which will see John Romero (award-winning game development icon) as creative consultant.Her animation credits include providing additional music on the 52 x 11 minute Lucky Fred 2 series for International broadcast (Imira Entertainment / Telegael / Toonz Entertainment / Televisió de Catalunya / Aeon Entertainment) for composer, Anna Rice. She is also working on the forthcoming animation series, 'Top Cop', produced by Mooshku for Nickelodeon Jnr UK and Ireland.As a touring/session violinist, Sarah has, over the years, performed live/recorded with an impressive range of artists including Hozier, (performing tracks on his Billboard No. 1 album, 'Wasteland Baby'), Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Glen Hansard, Paul Brady, Shane McGowan, Mundy, The Coronas, Gavin James, Thanks Brother, Damien Dempsey, Mumford and Sons and Ed Sheeran.She is a scholarship recipient of Pulse College's MA in Scoring for Film and Visual Media, as well as an alumna of Trinity College Dublin, scholarship recipient of The Liszt Academy of Music, Hungary and the Royal Irish Academy of Music.In July 2019, Sarah was chosen as 1 of 12 composers worldwide to participate in the prestigious ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop ,which culminates in a 65-piece orchestral recording session at Fox Studios.Awards: Sarah is the 2019 recipient of the 'Michelle and Dean Kay Award', which will be presented to her in December in New York, by the ASCAP Foundation in recognition of her achievements on the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop. She was selected by a panel of ASCAP Creative Services Executives and music industry professionals.In August 2019, Sarah was nominated for the Peer Rabin Music Award at the prestigious Soundtrack Cologne Festival, and in October 2019, she was nominated for a Jerry Goldmsith Award for her composition, 'Transient Thoughts.'In 2017, Sarah was 1 of 4 Irish composers chosen to take part in the IMRO RTE Film Scoring Program, which awarded her the opportunity to compose and record an orchestral score for the film 'Acorn' (Dir.
