Rashid Phoenix began his martial arts training at the age of 15, an avid fan of martial arts cinema, he aspired to one day become as good as the characters in the kung Fu movies he grew up watching. After years of training in his home town of London, UK, Rashid decided to venture to China, the birth place of martial arts, so he could take his training to the next level. Rashid Lived totally immersed in the ways of martial arts and Buddhist philosophy, for one whole year in a secluded Shaolin Temple School located in famous Songshan Mountains of northern china.He was asked to represent the school and perform with their Shaolin monk performance team, to promote the Shaolin arts in china. This gave him the opportunity to travel and perform with his schools Shaolin monk Team in many provinces all around China. After leaving China, Rashid spent some months traveling around Asia to gain more knowledge of the martial arts.For a long time Rashid had known that he wanted to be involved with in the movie industry. he hopes to one day inspire people, as he was once inspire by the powerful characters he always watched and admire.Rashid took on the art of acting with the same passion and dedication as he applied to his martial arts training.
