When Mollie Rose was 9 years old, she started a project collecting hats for children with cancer. She began by handing out flyer's in the neighborhood and asking friends and family for donations. When she was a high school freshman, the local NBC Affiliate picked up this story and featured her on the evening news. From this exposure, Mollie received over 1,000 hats. This is when she first realized the power of the media and decided to get involved with her High School TV station. She was also featured nationally on Channel 1 News for her "Caps For Kids" Project. By the time Mollie left for college, she had collected over 20,000 hats with the help of national and local media.Mollie Rose went on to attend the University of Miami and immediately got involved in the college TV station. She was an Anchor on the Morning Show, a Reporter on the Evening News Show and Host on the Entertainment Show. During college, Mollie was selected to work directly for NBC Network for the 2005 Presidential Debates and hired by CBS Network while on location in Miami for Super Bowl XLI. She interned at Miami's #1 Hit Music Channel Y-100.7 and was hired as a summer intern at the same local NBC Affiliate in West Palm that had originally sparked her interest in the industry.After graduation from college, Mollie Rose moved to New York City and to work directly for CBS Headquarters as a Paige. Mollie also worked as a freelancer in casting and production for MTV and Vh1.After one year in NYC, Mollie moved back to Miami to work as an Entertainment and Sports Reporter for the MiamiHerald.com. She has since appeared in many short films and commercials in addition to working as a Freelance Producer for a variety of networks while continuing to Host local Web and Entertainment Shows.
