A Baja native, he's most noted for producing/directing a slew of music videos for some of Mexico's most famous Norteño groups, as well as for his documentary investigation into Latin American human smuggling cartels.In 2007, his documentary short "Los ilegales," with its backing track performed by the Grammy-winning narcocorrida group, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, won the inaugural Angel award for best short film at the Monaco International Film Festival.
