Brazilian Actor and awarded Producer. Marcio Rosario, originally from the coast town Santos in São Paulo, worked his way through Television, Theater and Cinema in Brazil. He started acting at the age of 4, and hasn't left the national and international scene since. At the age of 12 he made his debut in the movies, shooting the film 'Young Girl' directed by Wilson Rodrigues. In 1999 he moved to the United States where he did attend the prestigious American Film Institute. At the age of 21 he also worked with the acclaimed Romanian director Pouran Deherrkian in the movie 'Bitterland', after that was invited by Japanese Director Takashi Miike to join the cast of "The City Of The Lost Souls", which premiered in late fall, 2002, featured Marcio as one of the lead characters in a true story of mafia influence and international intrigue. Miike was named by Time Magazine as one the top ten best Non-Hollywood directors. Mexican writer/director Jackie Torres hired Marcio for his Laguna Films production of El Precio Del Norte (The Price of the North). Besides his work in Tv/Films Rosario also was always willing to help Latino communities and was pleased to join The National Hispanic Foundation For The Arts (Co-Founded By Jimmy Smits, Sonia Braga and Esai Morales), great foundation that gives scholarships to those who want to pursue a career in the Arts. Besides his appearance on blockbusters movies like: The Expendables, Rio I Love You, Collateral Damage, The Scorpion King, The Thin Red Line, Fight Club, and General's Daughter, Rosario did had a recurring on the NBC soap opera, Days Of Our Lives where he played officer Santos. Rosario also worked for Marcland Coorporation in Burbank, California as Voice-Over Director for over two years. In 2005 Rosario was invited by brazilian casting director, Daniel Berlinski to go back to Brazil and start his work in on one of the best soap operas ever: Belissíma by acclaimed writer Silvio De Abreu where he did re-encountered many old friends and from this new beginning in his Native country and since then has done over nine TV Series so far. In 2010, he co-founded a film company, a Tres Tons Visuais with the brazilian writer, Beto Skubs which produced they first short film "Living Again" winning many awards as "Best Film".
