Linda Brookover is president of Pendragon Film Ltd. since 1998, and is committed to the development of high-quality independent productions. She co-wrote the Showtime family movie "Time at the Top" which was awarded the Certificate of Merit as a Finalist in the Houston World Film Festival and also The Film Advisory Board's Award of Excellence. It was in competition at the Cairo International Film Festival and Falstaff International Film Festival and also screened at the Festival of Festivals, Saint Petersburg. She has also worked as a producer on the independent features "Beat," "White Nights," and "Nightcomer." Her projects in development include "In the Pool" (based on an actual survival story of the 2017 California wild fires) and "The Bandit Queen," the true story of Pearl Hart, which she co-wrote.Beginning in 1996 Linda wrote a series of articles about film noir and the "politics" of the horror genre. During the same period she was an editor, interviewer, and essayist for the online Magazine OneWorld, to which she contributed pieces on such varied subjects as the Pueblo Revolts, American Indian activist Russell Means, ayahuasca, and the "Crocodile Files" that featured one of the earliest interviews with the late "crocodile hunter" Steve Irwin.
