Leslie Trotter was born in Cleveland and raised in Shaker Hts., Ohio, by her mother and father. At a young age, she expressed a natural spark for the arts. Awaking in the middle of many nights to sing along to her Big Bird record player, taking drawing classes at the world renowned Cleveland Museum of Art, participating in almost every creative genre her all girl private high school offered: drama, dance, choir. She even studied with product designer Alberto Alessi in Italy during her college years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Entrepreneurship from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Living in Brooklyn and working the NYC fashion world behind the scenes doing product development in fashion and health & beauty, it was only a matter of time before she began to evolve as her own brand and move in front of the camera.
