Joanne is a graduate of Rose Bruford College, London and has a vast array of experience in film, theatre, commercials and voice overs.Although born in England she calls Scotland home and has lived there for over 50 years so she is fortunate to have bases in London, Oxford and Edinburgh. She's also looking to work further afield and is very keen to look at opportunities worldwide.After a career break she returned to acting 8 years ago.Recent credits include Saving Christmas Spirit, feature film US/UK and directed by Wendy Faraone (due out Christmas 2022), Hello Muscles, short film (UK) directed by Marnie Baxter, ScotGov/NHS 'Roll up your Sleeves" vaccination campaign - UK/all media January 2021, King Duncan in an all female Macbeth directed by TSMGO Robert Myles 2020, Royal Bank of Scotland fraud awareness, voice over, The First Noelle film, US/UK-directed by Wendy Faraone 2019.Currently starring as Mrs Bird in Paddington (stage) in Edinburgh, directed by Bethany West (The Globe).In addition she's done many workshops and courses including a week long intensive course with legendary director Mike Alfreds and most recently with American voice and dialect coach Rebecca Gausnell.
