Jermell Deshauan is an American actor originally from the South Side of Chicago, IL. His name "Jermell" means "beauty" in Arabic. Performing came naturally to him as a child, where he starred in various plays in elementary school. After attending Florida A&M University (FAMU) and obtaining a degree in Business, he went on to do a short stint in Corporate America. Realizing his dream to act was never leaving his heart, he quit his role in Marketing and has been acting professionally ever since.
