A resident of Brookhaven, Georgia, Ivy is creating a movement of change in the way restaurants feed their kid patrons. She loves to eat at awesome high-end restaurants, but found that when she was younger that she did not have a healthy choice when I receive a kid's menu. There are only 5 choices on many kid's menus: Chicken Fingers, Burgers with Fries, Mac and Cheese, Pasta with Butter or Unseasoned Marinara...and once in awhile you will see a hot-dog.One day, Ivy and her family were traveling and they didn't want to spend a lot of money on food for the kids, so all they could use was the choices from the kid's menus. By the end of their vacation, Ivy was sick, bloated and not happy! She wondered, "why don't restaurants offer items off of the adult menu that a child can have without the adult price?"So now Ivy has decided to ask the questions that nobody is daring to ask!In March 2019, Ivy competed on Season 7 of FOX's "MasterChef Junior", featuring Host/Judge and Executive Producer Gordon Ramsay, a world-renowned Michelin-starred Scottish celebrity chef along with pastry chef Christina Tosi and Mexican Chef Aaron Sanchez. Ivy had an awesome run on the show, and never landed on the bottom once. Whether sweet (Dessert) or cooking savory dishes, excelled in every challenge when it came to baking desserts, spicy and savory food, and skills tests. She finished as the co-runner up of the season with fellow 11 year old Malia Brauer, a resident of Newhall, CA. After her run on the show, Ivy has returned to school to complete her studies whilst hosting some exciting culinary projects. After graduating, Ivy hopes to attend culinary school, and enter the restaurant industry soon after that. Show less «
