Georin Aquila was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the oldest of five children of Harry Oliver, a retired Firefighter and current Minister, and Sylvia (Matthews) a mental health employee. He grew up in a middle class area on the East side of Pittsburgh. Georin attended the Holy Rosary Catholic Middle School in the Homewood section of Pittsburgh. Georin also attended the Imani Christian Academy High School located in the East Hills section of Pittsburgh. He got the nickname "Big G" because of the way he dominated on the cities basketball courts.After graduating from high school, Georin considered joining the US Air Force, but decided to pursue his technical side in which he obtained a Degree in Computer and Electronic Engineering. However, his artistic side would lead him back to acting. Georin discovered his passion for acting while being on the set of the Film "The Temptations" which was filmed in Pittsburgh. This would begin his career in acting as he later would land a role in a TV Commercial which he played a Pittsburgh Steeler which so happens to be his favorite team. Georin feels very blessed to be apart of such a great industry, and loves roles where he can show off his creative and spiritual nature.
