Garth Stein is an American Author who has written many books, including The Art of Racing in The Rain and How Evan Broke His Head And Other Secrets, and produced a feature film titled, The Art of Racing in The Rain, based off of his novel. Before he started writing full time, he was a Documentary filmmaker. He was born in Los Angeles and was raised in Seattle.
