Dobbs has brought his remarkable expertise to Hollywood by co-producing Hallmark's mini-series, _"Johnson County War" (2002) (mini)_; The Texas Rangers, for Miramax/Dimension; two TNT four-hour mini-series' Everything That Rises (1998) and Rough Riders (1997); Dead Man's Walk (1996), a four-hour mini-series for ABC TV; Larry McMurtry's Streets of Laredo (1995), a five-hour mini-series for CBS TV; Gambler V: Playing for Keeps (1994) which he also co-wrote, a four-hour mini for CBS; Rio Diablo (1993), two-hour CBS feature, also a co-writer; Gone to Texas, a three-hour mini for CBS TV; plus, The Last Cowboy.
