Dean Kostlich - Actor/ Singer-Songwriter.In September of 2016 Dean Kostlich was cast in the lead role in the feature film "Mnemosyne" filmed just south of Savanna, Ga. His portrayal of the twisted and maniacal 'Pastor' in Mnemosyne was the latest chapter in the quickly ascending acting career for Dean. His career road began in music in NYC in the late 90's and has led he and his family to Atlanta in 2016.Early in 2014 Dean landed the recurring role of "Paulie Petrucelli" in season 2 of LBD Productions breakout web series "Johnny Dynamo". This role, working along side longtime character actor and mentor Terry Kiser, marked the return to acting for Dean. Since "Dynamo", he has been busy in film, television, print, commercials and music. In the spring of 2015 he was signed to the J Pervis Talent Agency in Atlanta, Ga which led to his move in 2016. He studies acting at The Company Acting Studio in Atlanta.Dean grew up in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, a steel town just outside of Pittsburgh. A natural performer from a young age, he took equally to music and stage. From talent shows, garage bands, and high school musicals to the Penn State Theatre program, his formative years were spent developing himself into a committed artist. In addition to acting in both university and student produced film and theater projects, he began playing original music around the Penn State campus as a singer-songwriter.Post graduation, his primary focus was initially music. His journey led him to Philadelphia and then on to New York City where he lead several projects- writing, performing, and recording with bands over the course of a decade. However, this time was not spent completely away from theatre or the acting community. He also spent his NYC days working for the New York Shakespeare Festival, where the seeds for a return to acting were planted.After a move back to Pittsburgh - Dean was married in the spring of 2006 and became the father of twins a year later. He continued recording his original music and performing over 100 shows a year in the western Pa region before moving his young family to Nashville in the spring of 2013. Once in Nashville, he returned to acting and quickly realized he was home again. His constant focus on study and craft has consistently and rapidly advance his scope of work from day player and supporting in a couple up-start web series to his first lead in the feature "Mnemosyne".A committed artist, Dean studies acting at The Company Acting Studio in Atlanta. Dean moves forward with purpose and vision for accomplishment in Film, Television, Music, Print and New Media entertainment.
