Dayrin Martinez was born in Tarzana, Ca., and started acting when she was 8 years old. Some of Dayrin's beginning debuts as a young actress in several plays such as Wizard of Oz, Grease and First Thanksgiving. Her passion has led her to star in lead roles in short films and student films that genre drama, comedy and horror. Roles include The Family (amc), Short Breads (girl scout films), The Game, Something about Lucy. She can be seen showcasing her comedy skills as the character Jessica aka Electra in ongoing shorts of The Chronicles of FRED for FRED Channel. After she went on to a recurring role named Arzu on the TV series Aliens Encounters season 3 airing on the Science Channel. Dayrin has experienced other corners of the market including National Commercials, PSA's and Print.Outside of her work in the entertainment industry and being a 6th grade student she spends her personal time involved in charity work Locks of Love and various social and environmental causes. Dayrin has a magnetic personality. She's out going, caring, charismatic. Dayrin enjoys hanging out with her family, friends, painting, drawing, the outdoors and with her cockatiel bird Rudy.Dayrin can next be seen in the role of Young Lina on Jane the Virgin on The CW Network.
