Acting and Music has been necessary forces in the life of Darrell Hughes. Taking on the name SILVER, as he is known in the music world, (acronym for Sometimes In Life Violence Equals Revolution), he has experienced, as most would say, the ups and downs of the industry. After landing his first role as Patrick in the hit movie "TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME" Darrell utilized his full array of talents to catapult his career. He recorded the title track for the feature film and was the first rap artist to record a song with the Internationally known Enrique Iglesias. Darrell was born and raised in North Carolina and after his stay with the military, he enrolled in Southwestern College and honed his skills by engaging in theatre and acting classes. He competed Nationally in Speech Forensics, was a member of the Men's Basketball Team, a board member of the Associated Student Organization, and he sat on the Grievance Board.
