American professional wrestler best known for his work for CHIKARA, Ring of Honor and CZW as Chris Hero. Started his career under the name Wife Beater until women's groups protested a show where he was scheduled to wrestle. Took on a superhero persona, often wrestling in a Superman costume, sometimes with the 'S' logo crossed out. Turned heel on his partner Mike Quackenbush (Mike Spillane) in the finals of the 2005 CHIKARA Tag World Grand Prix against Claudio Castagnoli and Arik Cannon. This led to the formation of the Kings of Wrestling, who would dominate CHIKARA until Hero's departure at the end of 2007 under mysterious circumstances. He also worked as a trainer at the CHIKARA Wrestle Factory. He spent two years in WWE's developmental program Florida Championship Wrestling (later re-branded NXT) as Kassius Ohno. Among his in-ring achievements, he and Claudio Castagnoli were the inaugural CHIKARA Campeones de Parejas via winning the 2006 Tag World Grand Prix, he is a former CZW World Heavyweight Champion and a 2x CZW World Tag Team Champion, a former 2x ROH World Tag Team Champion, and in 2010 Dave Meltzer's "The Wrestling Observer Newsletter" named Hero and Castagnoli "Tag Team of the Year." Returned to WWE NXT, as Kassius Ohno, in January 2017. Show less «
