Celeste Stoney is an American musical recording artist, actress, producer and songwriter signed to her own record label, Level Music Entertainment and Peermusic. She was born Felicia Celeste Scalone in Phoenix, Arizona and was later raised in Los Angeles. Her parents, Michelle Sparrow, an accounting professional, and Alan Scalone, an entrepreneur, divorced when she was very young. As a child, all Celeste wanted was to become a singer, and she was driven by the music of the 80s-90s like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Mary J. Blige, Aerosmith, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. Her sound is a mix of pop, soul and retro funk.She got her start in as a demo singer and songwriter working with the Grammy Award winning producer 7 Aurelius. As her first release in 2003, was a feature with Ja Rule on the song Ja Rule: Murder Reigns (2003). Celeste has appeared as a Semi-Finalist on American Idol: The Search for a Superstar: Hollywood Eliminations: Part 2 (2006) and a finalist on Making the Band 3 (2005). She won 1st place in the USA Songwriting Competition and has written for several artist including Alexandra Burke, Bobby Brown, Foxy Brown, Harry James Byart, Ja Rule, Jessica Sanchez and Raekwon.Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton says, "Celeste Stoney reminds us of Pink" and CNN says, "Thank you! "My Kinda Crazy" embodies the ups and downs of a lasting, monogamous relationship and Kool (2015) takes a lighthearted but real look at sexual exploitation in media. Her newest single, "Dumb" is a no-holds-barred reality check of society including addressing current issues like police brutality and the divisions in our country and is released with a satire laced music video shedding light on real issues.Celeste has also dabbled in acting appearing in an Enfamil commercial with her youngest son and she also did stand in for Jessica Biel in the movie La vérité sur Emanuel (2013).
