Celeste Insell has worked on both stage and screen. She studied in New York City at the Herbert Berghof studio in the early 1980's. She made her television debut playing the principal role of Nurse Graham in the made for TV movie "A Piano for Mrs. Camino" which starred Bette Davis; and playing opposite Miss Davis remains one of the highlights of her career. She also played the role of "Lady in Blue" and later went on to play the very demanding lead role of "Lady in Red" in the Western Canadian touring production of "For Colored Girls..." The production ran for six months in Vancouver after receiving rave reviews. She enjoys performing both in comedy and drama; and is always up for a challenge. Some of her more recent roles include a Lifetime made for TV movie "Grim Sleeper" (2014) and a Canadian indie short film "Mattress" (2014) directed by Michelle Kee which was selected for entry in the Cannes short film category. Ms. Insell is also a published writer. Show less «
