Cassie Ray is an actress, singer and dancer based in NYC. She has a BA in Performing Arts from the University of Tampa with a minor in dance under the instruction of Dr. Susan Taylor Lennon. Cassie has trained with many of the greats including Shirley Maclain, Jeff Goldblum, Ben Vereen and more at Broadway Theater Project. At University she received an Irene Ryan Nomination for her portrayal of Sylvia in the play The Women, and her favorite role was Beth in Little Women. Her first professional show was the National Tour of Sesame Street Live as a singer. Shortly after tour she booked a show as a principal dancer for the Main Stage shows at both the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City, NJ and Fallsview Casino & Resort in Niagara Falls.After a couple of years performing on the road and in casino's, Cassie decided to come and stay a while in NYC to continue her studies. She now works directly with Kelly Kimball for TV/Film at Kimball Studios, Will Bryan for voice, The Growing Studio and Primary stages ESPA for theater performance. She has also worked directly with the lovely Stewart Pearce for speech and diction.More recently Cassie performed in Kabarett Weinmar with The Queensborough Theater Project under the direction of Christopher Sloan. She has performed in many cabarets around NYC with up and coming songwriters, developing their new music.Cassie is a Katonah Yoga® instructor and the founder of Practice Your Magic(TM) an integrative yoga and wellness brand that seeks to help people learn tricks and tonics to find Magic & Joy in their everyday lives.She continues to grow and learn in NYC, study theater, dance & yoga, and is always seeking out new opportunities to perform and teach.
