Born in Queens NY, Carolina started dancing as soon as she took her first steps. She grew up singing, acting, and dancing which led her to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre at AMDA. She attended the conservatory in NYC and then moved to LA to finish her bachelor's degree. There, she fell in love with acting for the camera and felt she could find a way to fuse all her passions into one cinematic platform. Upon graduating in 2015, she continued working on her craft taking acting/commercial classes with renowned teachers like Killian McHugh, Ryan Glasgow, and at Joseph Pearlman's Acting Academy. In 2018 she founded Femme Regard Productions with co-producer Tessa Markle, someone she had met through one of the acting classes. With the mission in mind to reinvent cinematic stereotypes and give more opportunity to women in front of and behind the camera, Carolina has always had a desire to produce her own films, focusing on female perspective in sensuality and expression, with cultural flares, given her Polish/Colombian background. Passionate about building an independent film community and finding female filmmakers with whom her company can collaborate with, in 2019 they started their own podcast. Femme Regard Podcast is for the beginner independent filmmaker who is learning the ropes to the whole production process. They have brought on over 60 industry guests to speak to all different production roles while "spilling the tea" on what the production process has been for them. Carolina hopes to continue to connect, celebrate, and inspire her film community as she herself grows in multiple roles. Show less «
