_Anissa Wood (III)_ was born in Louisville, Ky on November 11th. She attended Central High Magnet Career Academy where she specialized in Law and Government until graduating. Anissa then attended the University of Louisville majoring in Communications but then changing her major to Civil Engineering. Growing up she always wanted to Model and Act but was afraid that her small city wouldn't be able to provide what she was looking for. Anissa used this as an opportunity to travel, while pursuing her acting career.Anissa started modeling locally to build her portfolio and submitted to several magazine. Ar leith Magazine and Crunk Atlanta magazine where the first magazines she appeared in. Deciding she had worked her way into modeling, she decided it was time to shoot for acting. Auditioning for a theatre production she found herself as a character in the stage play "The 12 Murders of Christmas". Anissa auditioned for Travel Channels show Xtreme Waterparks (2012) and was cast on the episode "Deep Water Dive" in Kentucky. Anissa Wood then dived head first into acting. Landing an Extra role in the movie The Song (2014) gave her the motivation she needed to reach for higher roles. She appeared in the short film "Badd" directed by Darryl Stephens as a leading actress, and a short film entitled "Sins of Thy Father" directed by Anthony Rashaad as a supporting cast member. "Clinic" which is still being filmed is another film she was cast as an extra in that was directed by Timothy Hall. Now that Anissa had been in a "Reality" show and short films, she headed for the full length features.As of now Anissa is in pre production for the upcoming feature film Battling Dreams (2019) directed by Chris Taylor. "Roncorous" (2018) directed by James Watts is another film she is currently cast in, that is currently filming. Anissa looks forward to more feature length films, continuing her modeling career, and even undergoing more reality shows. Anissa Inspires in all things creative and looks forward to not only undergoing these pathways in life, but also to start her own clothing line, blog, and books that she is currently starting.
