Amy Elizabeth Partain was born at Eglin AFB Hospital in Niceville, Florida. When she was 8 years old, a curiosity for the entertainment industry sparked and she started reading and analyzing scripts from movies and TV shows online and even began writing her own stories and scripts. A passion for all things Hollywood began to develop and she began performing in plays at her family's local Baptist church. After a few years of performing in productions at her church, Amy auditioned for her local YMCA Drama Department's production of "Alice in Wonderland" where she landed the lead role of 'Alice' at the age of 10. There, she performed in two more productions which included "Headin' for a Weddin,'" and "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" where she portrayed the role of Gladys Herman.When Amy was 13 years old, her family made the decision to move to Kennesaw, a suburb north of Atlanta, Georgia. At her middle/high school, Mount Paran Christian School, Amy participated in many productions including: "The Little Mermaid Jr.", "A Little Princess", "You Can't Take It with You", "The Tempest", and "12 Angry Jurors." There, she also received extensive training in drama classes including: improvisation, acting technique, musical theatre singing technique, script analysis, and musical theatre dance technique.Amy fell in love with a conservatory located in downtown Atlanta called Fabrefaction where she performed in many professional productions alongside equity actors including: "Charlotte's Web", "Hairspray!", "Legally Blonde the Musical", "Les Miserables", "The Seagull", and "Oliver!". The training she received at this conservatory was highly advanced as she was trained in areas that included: practical aesthetics-based script analysis, Meisner technique, Suzuki, Viewpoints (Bogart & Overlie), Skinner speech technique, Chuck Jones/Linklatter voice technique, Uta Hagen acting technique, Stanislovsky acting technique, Stella Adler acting technique, Repetition, Chekhovian script analysis, and more. There, she also participated in numerous production intensives.She also began training at Drama Inc. in downtown Atlanta and took classes including: Commercial Crash Course, HIT (Hosting-Industrials-Teleprompting), On Camera 1, and On Camera 2.Amy is represented by MMG - Model Management Group in New York.
