Two-time Emmy Award Winner Alan Luxmore is charming audiences everywhere as Project Manager and Co-Host alongside Amy Devers ("Trading Spaces") on the hit A&E series, "Fix This Yard." This inspiring show follows Alan as he responds to unhappy neighbors by utilizing his vast knowledge and experience to completely renovate the yards and exteriors of homes in the neighborhood. After a weekend of hard work and always a few surprises, Alan leaves delighted homeowners and a home that is not only more beautiful but valued at far more than it was originally worth.Alan is best known as Senior Project Manager on ABC's heart-felt sensation "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." In 2003 producers first asked Alan to volunteer until they realized just how talented he truly was and quickly promoted him to project manager. During his time with the show, Alan was able to perfect the 100-hour build, a task unheard of in construction and bring the show to win Emmy's for "Outstanding Reality Program" in 2005 and 2006. His hard work and brilliance ultimately lead him to be featured multiple times in the spin off show, ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - How'd They Do That."Having been raised in a family of homebuilders, Alan began honing his craft very early in life. At only 26 years old, Alan started his own construction company and within just a few short years it grew into a successful property development and residential home building business. Alan credits his uncle for his unparalleled work ethic and his family of builders including his mentor, his grandfather, for almost everything he knows. Although Alan had a thriving business and wonderful future ahead of him, he wanted more. He loved the thrill of acting and spent much of his childhood appearing in theatrical productions, commercials, and independent films. It was fate when "Extreme Makeover" came knocking and allowed him to entertain people, what Alan says is his true purpose in life.Since "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", Alan has gone on to be the Project Manager of TNT's "Wedding Day" produced by "Survivor's" Mark Burnett, HGTV's "The Outdoor Room" produced by "Queer Eye's" Scout Productions, CMT's "Mobile Home Disaster" and "Neighbor Labor." Due to his charming personality, striking good looks, and extensive knowledge, Alan and his efforts were featured on camera as opposed to just behind the scene hard at work. In addition, Alan produced CBS's "Kid Nation," developed by Tom Forman whom he worked with on "Extreme Makeover" and was the casting producer on TLC's "The Police Women."
